Yes, I use an ancient phone. I have no need for a smart phone since I hardly go out and have Android and iOS devices at home that I use via wifi.

Seriously, these photos are random. I take photos of things that interest, amuse, or disgust me. ^^ I decided to post them for the heck of things (or more like it’s an excuse to make a new post). 😀

Digital Muscle — I thought this was some sort of wacky translation error until I saw this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muscular_system_of_the_horse#Muscles_of_the_forelimb Of course, that’s not horse meat that’s being sold but the whole digital thing is a part of other animals too.

Expensive box of fortune cookies with cute cat on cover — Oops. I cropped out the price tag but it was about $16.99 Canadian or something. Anyway, I doubt the fortune cookies are in the shape of a cat.

Poor bunch of bananas ... — … the oranges just overran the entire section. 😦

Eggplants~! — Mama eggplant and a baby one. ^o^~

Macarons~ — I got these from a Korean bakery. It’s the first time I’ve ever tried macarons. ……….. I’m not sure what to think about them. ^^;;;

Cute perfume stick — Perfume sticks in the form of a matryoshka doll~! Would be hilarious if there was another one inside …

Lotion in bunny containers — I thought these were llamas at first.

Elevator at the Hudson's Bay store at Sherway Gardens 2 — Their elevator doubles as a service and passenger elevator, I believe. It’s also in desperate need of renovation. Wonder if we inhaled any toxic stuff? Incidentally, this was taken in November 2013 and I haven’t been back there since so I have no idea if they redid the elevator. I sure hope they did because it completely clashes with the updated, upperclass-like look of the store.

Washroom of Fail — I THINK this was the BTrust washroom before it renovated. I can’t remember since it’s been a while since I took the photo. Anyway, that plastic bottle has a small hole on the cap for the soap (the yellow liquid) to come out of it. 😛 What’s hilarious is that this is a supermarket that SELLS liquid soap too so there’s no reason they can’t afford to put an actual bottle of the stuff for customers to use.

The magical arm injury in anime, manga, and games

I always wonder … why is it that characters always hold their arm after becoming a victim of some sort of injury? It’s like if they’re thrown against a wall, they’ll get up and hobble a bit while holding their arm. I suppose it’s plausible that the arm broke or something when the body hit the wall but then there are instances where characters are pummelled to a pulp and when they get up, they’re still holding onto their arm???

Dear Falcom,

For the love of God, spare some time to focus on a new IP or Ys again. Yes, the Kiseki series is making you a buttload of money but goddammit, you can do something else on the side too. It’s seriously frustrating for fans that don’t care about The Legend of Heroes series.

Dear Kairosoft,

It’s seriously time to invest in some public relations and customer service, especially when it comes to dealing with foreign fans. I’m not quite sure why it’s so difficult to write short lines of text explaining what’s been when updates occur for your iOS and Android games. I mean, even the Japanese releases don’t have change logs.

It’s also quite disheartening to see games released with bugs, sometimes fatal ones too since it gives the impression that you’re not all that serious about your games. Perhaps, on top of PR and CS, you can get some proper quality assurance going too.

One more thing: Do those Twitter and Facebook accounts actually belong to you?
